As of 1st April 2017, UK laws changed to give businesses, charities and public-sector organisations more power when it comes to paying for their water supply. This means that businesses registered in England and Scotland can switch their business water away from high-priced contracts. However, in Wales, businesses are only allowed to switch if consumption is over 5000m³ of water per year. To be eligible to switch your business water, your registered office must meet the location requirements.
